Successful Nursing Skills Day Held at Bandon Community Center

BANDON – Arianne Booth, RN, Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center Nurse Educator, along with several collegues, organized two successful Nursing Skills Day on Nov. 7 and 10 at the Bandon Community Center.

The event helps SCHHC nurses and other medical clinicians stay up-to-date on their skills, which is not only important, but required.

As in the past, the event featured stations represented by different hospital departments, where nurses can update their skills and gain additional knowledge through presentations and hands-on exercises and testing.

Nursing Skills Day events are held quarterly, organized by Booth.
