BANDON – Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center announces its clinical and non-clinical Employees of the Month for March 2025. Employees of the Month are nominated by their peers and voted on via an anonymous poll. Awardees receive points on the hospital’s AwardCo platform, which they can redeem for merchandise or gift cards, and also receive a designated parking spot for the month.
Clinical:
Jamie DeLaRosa Rosas – Certified Medical Assistant, Multi-Specialty Clinic
“Jamie is a very dedicated, hardworking, and compassionate person,” her nomination stated. “She consistently goes above and beyond in her daily tasks, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
“Her willingness to work overtime, without complaint, showcases her reliability and selflessness.
“Additionally, her kindness and attentiveness toward patients reflects a deep sense of care and empathy. Despite challenges that we have had, Jamie maintains a positive attitude, uplifting those around her.
“She is not just a diligent worker but also an inspiring presence in any environment,” the nomination concluded.
Non-Clinical:
James Dougherty – Maintenance Assistant I, Engineering
“James is everywhere all of the time,” his nomination stated. “Without him, the vision of the hospital would be impossible.
“He maintains everything inside and out of the entire hospital day in and day out with little notice.
James always has a shining friendly smile, and will wave to you and ask how your day is going, and if you need a hand with anything.
He is seen by all, multiple times a week, doing everything that he can to keep Southern Coos safe and running, even going out of his way and WAY off of his job description to perform small tasks for individual department morale.
“I believe it is our MISSION to select James for his unprecedented display of holding up hospital VALUES so we can continue to uphold our VISION,” the nomination concluded.
