October SCHHC Employees of the Month Selected

BANDON – Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center announces its clinical and non-clinical Employees of the Month for October 2024. Employees of the Month are nominated by their peers and voted on via an anonymous poll. Awardees receive points on the hospital’s AwardCo platform, which they can redeem for merchandise or gift cards, and also receive a designated parking spot for the month.

Non-Clinical:

Steven Bettelyoun

Dietary Aide, Dietary Department

Stevie is one of the friendliest employees I have ever met. He is dedicated to his job and to Southern Coos Hospital, having celebrated his 10-year work anniversary this year.

Stevie is hard-working as well, always doing his best. He is also more than willing to do whatever is asked of him and to go the extra distance to meet a patient’s special dietary needs. With his happy smile and positive attitude, Stevie embodies the SCH mission of making SCH the best place for their coworkers to work and the best place for patients to receive quality care.

Stevie is extraordinarily deserving of being the Non-Clinical Employee of the Month.

Clinical:

Rebecca Harris, RN

Charge Nurse, Nursing Dept.

Rebecca works very hard to provide support for other staff members and patients on a continual basis. She prioritizes patient care and well-being and is dedicated to her field.

As an employee, she is hardworking, honest, reliable, and dependable. In order to help her patients, Rebecca is willing to have crucial conversations with physicians, managers, and other staff members.

Rebecca helps others from different departments with a smile, even when they are busy or have a lot of tasks at hand. Her responsible, caring nature, shows that she deserves the recognition of her peers! She is a great example of dedication, integrity, and professionalism.

Congratulations to our October Employees of the Month! You are both valued here at Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center.
