Lisa Cooper has been with Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center in Bandon since December 2012 and is an RN in the hospital’s Outpatient Clinic.
Lisa’s care of patients has been noticed by her co-workers, who recognized her as Clinical Employee of the Month for November.
“Lisa is an exceptional example of giving patient-centered care,” her nomination stated. “When a patient is in need of care, she goes above and beyond to ensure that their needs are met and does so with a compassionate attitude.”
On top of her regular outpatient RN duties, she single-handedly administered 226 COVID-19 vaccinations in the last month.
“Lisa also has a way of putting patients at ease when she cares for them,” her nomination continued. “It is because of Lisa’s compassion, teamwork, and friendly demeanor that she is being recommended for Employee of the Month.”
