BANDON – Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center announces its clinical and non-clinical Employees of the Month for August 2024. Employees of the Month are nominated by their peers and voted on via an anonymous poll. Awardees receive points on the hospital’s AwardCo platform, which they can redeem for merchandise or gift cards, and also receive a designated parking spot for the month.

“Belle is always willing to learn new things and take on new tasks when asked and learns them well,” her nomination stated.
“When dealing with patients, she is professional, kind, compassionate, and respectful not only to the patients but to her co-workers as well.
“Belle is always calm, even in the most difficult and heated situations and puts her best foot forward. Her performance is always top-notch, even when taking on more work, and she is always willing to help when asked.
“Belle is truly an asset, has a good work ethic, and represents the values of Southern Coos. We are lucky and happy to have her,” the nomination concluded.
Clinical:

“Vitaliy is a person who puts his heart and soul into his job every day he is scheduled,” the nomination stated.
“He provides compassionate and thoughtful direct patient care and is always willing to help the team.
“This last week, there is no way the DNV survey would have gone as well as it did for nursing had Vitaliy not been a nurse on shift. Without hesitation, he accepted the daunting tasks of providing direct patient care and performing a head-to-toe nursing assessment with a surveyor in toe, marking down every move he made with a critical eye.
“Not only did Vitaliy perform the tasks, but he provided patient education as he did his assessment and helped answer all the patient’s questions, easing the patient’s stress as well.
“As a unit, we are very thankful to have Vitaliy as a team member as he consistently demonstrates compassion, integrity, professionalism, and teamwork by inspiring his coworkers through building esprit de corps,” his nomination concluded.
