The 22nd Annual Rotary/K-DOCK BUS JAM will be held Saturday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in various locations throughout Coos and Western Douglas counties. In Bandon, the event will be held in the parking lot of Rogue Credit Union (Bandon Professional Center – the same building as Coast Community Health Center). A Bandon School District bus will be parked there, as well as Angelina’s food truck, offering Mexican food. Donations of non-perishable food, new, unwrapped toys and money are all greatly appreciated. The Bus Jam benefits local families.
If you know of a family that needs assistance, you can pass the information along to them. Sign-ups are still being accepted for the Bus Jam distribution, which will take place Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Boys & Girls Club in Coos Bay, where registrants can “shop” at no cost for their family. For more information and to register to “shop” on Dec. 9, visit https://www.busjam.org. Food donations are taken to South Coast Food Share, where they are redistributed to food banks along the South Coast.
Prior to Dec. 2, donations can be dropped off at the locations listed below. Let’s fill the bus! More information is provided below.
