Alix McGinley has lived in Bandon for the past 13 years with her husband Patrick, moving from Tucson, Ariz., where her daughter and grandbabies live. Patrick, Alix and their pups Smoosh & Tinsel love Bandon’s amazing community.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UofA Global Campus. She brings over two decades of significant experience in leadership roles, including Operations Manager, Regional Management Trainer and, in Bandon, as the Sales and Marketing Director for Pacific View Senior Living.
Alix began her journey in nonprofit work at South Coast Hospice where she trained volunteers and helped with fundraising efforts and events. Alix has spent the last six years as a contracted Event Coordinator for the Southern Coos Health Foundation, where she has honed her skills in successful event planning, creation and execution, fundraising, and community outreach.
Alix has served as SCHF Executive Director since 2025.

Every year, the Southern Coos Health Foundation raises funds that go directly to purchase equipment that enhances patient care. The majority of these funds are raised as part of our annual year-end campaign. Due to the generosity of our community, we have raised over $1 million dollars over the past 10 years.
