The Southern Coos Hospital Surgical Services Department recently completed a major upgrade, installing specialized sterile equipment
to ensure the highest level of patient safety during surgical procedures.

- Hernia Repairs (inguinal, umbilical, ventral, incisional etc.)
- Upper endoscopy (EGD) for diagnosis and treatment

Dr. Ahmad Namous, DPM, is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon with advanced training in foot and ankle sports medicine.
Dr. Namous is now performing surgeries at Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center. Those interested in scheduling an appointment can contact him HERE.
Dr. Namous completed a comprehensive Foot and Ankle Sports Medicine Fellowship at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle, where he gained extensive experience in high-complexity surgical procedures including ligament reconstruction, tendon repair, and total ankle replacement.
He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University and completed his residency at University Hospital in Newark, NJ, with additional leadership as Junior Chief Resident at Lower Bucks Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) and board qualified in foot and rearfoot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS).
