Join Coast Community Health Center in celebrating National Health Center Week!
On Monday, Aug. 5, Coast Community Health Center will host a Special Donation Drive to support Healthcare for People Experiencing Homelessness Day.
Even donating one item can help a person in need!
Drop off new toiletry items or new clothing items on Monday, Aug. 5, with the Coast Outreach Team. They will be collecting items at Coast Community Health Center in Bandon, located at 1010 First St. SE, Suite 110.
Coast will also be collecting items each day beginning Monday, July 29, and running through Wednesday, Aug. 7. There are collection sites at the Coast Community Health Centers in Bandon and Port Orford (1312 Tichenor St., Port Orford), and at Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center in Bandon (900 11th St. SE. Bandon).
Donated items need to be new and in their original package. Donation ideas include toiletry items such as toothpaste, shampoo, soap, mouthwash and cleansing wipes.
Clothing items that are donated need to be new and in their original package. Ideas include T-shirts, socks, underwear and new shoes. Men’s, women’s, and children’s items are all welcome.

On Tuesday, Coast will celebrate Agricultural Worker Health Day.
On Wednesday, it’s Patient Appreciation Day and Coast will hold a Health Fair from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Bandon Clinic. Everyone is welcome!
On Thursday, Aug. 8, it’s Stakeholder Appreciation Day. The week ends with Health Center Staff Appreciation Day on Friday, Aug. 9.
