Dear Community,
It is with tremendous sadness that Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center learns of Coast Community Health Center’s decision to discontinue services as of February 15. We have always held the providers, staff and pharmacy at CCHC in the highest regard for the excellent patient care they have provided. This is a tremendously difficult time for our community, and we want to ensure that you know we are here to support you during this transition.
While the situation unfolds, we want to reassure the community that our Southern Coos Hospital Clinic remains open and, as always, we are accepting new patient applications. We will continue to process these as quickly as possible to ensure timely access to care. We have also started the process to open a pharmacy in our hospital outpatient clinic, to address the need for more pharmacy services in Bandon.
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Jennifer Webster will be joining our clinic team on January 27. Dr. Webster, formerly with North Bend Medical Center, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our clinic. We are excited to welcome her to our team and are confident she will be a valuable asset to our community’s healthcare needs.
In addition, we are actively working to recruit highly qualified providers, like Dr. Webster, to further strengthen the care we offer to Bandon and the surrounding areas.
Our commitment to the health and well-being of our community is unwavering, and we are here to meet both the current and future needs of our patients.
