Emergency Services at Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center
As a Critical Access Hospital, Southern Coos must provide 24-hour emergency services, 7 days a week.
All of our staff meet the state of Oregon’s licensure requirements. The CAH Conditions of Participation for emergency services specify that coverage may be provided by a doctor of medicine (MD) or doctor of osteopathy (DO), a physician assistant, a nurse practitioner, or a clinical nurse specialist with experience and training in emergency care.
