Surgical Services

The Southern Coos Hospital Surgical Services Department is currently offering general orthopedic surgeries, as well as reconstructive and plastic surgeries, such as carpal tunnel release, skin cancer reconstruction, breast surgery, tummy tucks and more. We have two new highly skilled surgeons on our surgery team, Dr. Michael Ivanitsky and Dr. Sharon Monsivais, who come to us with a wealth of education, certifications and experience. SCHHC is in the process of raising funds for critical upgrades to our Surgical Services Department. Our goal is to begin performing a wide range of general and orthopedic services, including primary joint replacements, in 2024.
