Job Title: Patient Access Specialist II – Part-Time (24 hours per week)
Department: Patient Access Services
Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center (SCHHC) has an opening in their Patient Access Services department for a Part Time (24 hrs per week), Patient Access Specialist II. The Patient Access Specialist is responsible for the registration of patients. This includes providing an explanation of hospital policies, payment for services, and answering routine patient inquiries. Confidentiality of information is vital to this position. Reports to and works under the direct supervision of the Patient Access Department Manager.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years’ experience preferred.
- Organized and the ability to manage time efficiently.
- Computer skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
This position works Part Time, 24 hrs per week and is not benefit eligible.
