Community Health @ SCHHC

Southern Coos Hospital is committed to providing the best healthcare to our patients. In order to best understand the healthcare needs of our residents, SCHHC regularly embarks on community health needs assessments (CHNA). We last participated in a Coos County-wide CHNA in 2013; the plan was updated in 2015.

Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center is currently engaged in a CHNA, with the assistance of Vanessa Becker and V Consulting out of Roseburg, Oregon. SCHHC will have initial results of our CHNA in June 2017, with a final draft finished in July 2017. Establishing the healthcare priorities of our community is crucial in developing a Community Health Improvement Plan, also to be completed in July 2017.
